Harvesty Halloween

I'm kind of weird in that I don't really like Halloween all that much but at the same time it's hard for me to ban it completely as I have very fond childhood memories of dressing for halloween and walking through the neighborhood begging for treats. So with our children we try not to give it much attention but we do dress up and have fun at school. This year, for the first time, we did not go trick-or-treating and it's been fun. We had a big party at school that the boys even got to participate in and then came home for "family night"...we carved pumpkins and put them in the family room with candles, made carameled apples, had a picnic dinner while watching a movie together. Here are some pictures of our day.
